The Old Quarter is centered around the old harbor, o little harbor, that was used by village fishermen.
The new harbor includes place for entertainment ships and ferrys' services to Lanzarote and Lobos.
The locality has a lot of shops, restaurants and bares, offering all kind of services to visitor.
It is situated in the first row of the sea, next to Galera beach and Wahikiki. The beaches are exposed to the wind, becoming this way in the fit place to develope activities that require rougher waters.
